“The determined, radiant personalities of these amazing women who pushed society forwards is what showed me the way. Louis Vuitton has always been a multicultural Maison that celebrates the eternal feminine throughout every culture and distinction, with a very French sense of playfulness and unique Parisian style,” explains in-house Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. It is to these victorious women that he dedicates his magnificent creation – a contemporary floral fragrance with striking amber tones. An utterly unexpected and unsettling perfume brimming with strength and richness. “I wanted to create a composition that was complex, spontaneous, and joyful, a fragrance that shines out irresistibly. I believe in representative perfumery, one that conveys emotions, values, and positive messages, one that everyone can lean into to write their own story.” This daring venture gave rise to a sculptural fragrance whose curves and silhouette perfectly echo the unique style of Louis Vuitton fashion: a carved construction imbued with fluidity and movement.

 

Rose – the perfect symbol for such triumphant femininity – is revealed in all its splendour, highlighted by Bulgarian rose absolute and a CO2-extracted Centifolia rose exclusive to Louis Vuitton. Majestic and rounded, it unfurls both its silky petals and the spiky armour of its thorns. The Master Perfumer combined this opulent flower with an exceptional technological innovation: for the first time in fragrance history, lily-of-the-valley – which, until now, was considered a “silent flower” – has been given a voice, sharing its scent through an unprecedented extraction process developed in Grasse, France. This springtime flower unveils a never-before-seen facet of its personality, expressing its clear beauty freely. The delicate bell-shaped blooms mingle with the rose’s curves, heightening freshness and nuance like entwined links that bring people together. This radiant bouquet whirls uplifting fruit into its embrace. Blackcurrant, peach, and a delectable hint of coconut milk enhance the floral notes with new, invigorating colours. To highlight the fragrance’s facets – an art in which he excels – Jacques Cavallier Belletrud chose only the finest spices. Cinnamon and ginger, both obtained through CO2 extraction, infuse the ensemble with a certain frisson and a powerful energy. Warmed through with light, a highly pure Ambroxan pushes the fragrance’s potency and impact even further. The surprising hot-cold contrast bewitches the senses. According to the Master Perfumer, “this contemporary amber with its powerful appeal is the epitome of 21st-century sensuality and elegance.” As a final signature flourish, he added a dash of patchouli, making the heart of the fragrance sing even louder over the long term. An intense composition for looking straight ahead and believing in a brighter future.

 

Fashioned in the signature cylindrical silhouette of Louis Vuitton fragrances, its bottle reveals a deep, vibrant purple essence, intermingling the colours of sky and land. A true demonstration of the Maison’s expertise, the bottle can be accompanied by a travel case made of black lambskin leather and ebony Monogram canvas. A violet microfibre lining adds a touch of modern refinement, while the silver metal buckle elegantly seals the case.

Khloé Kardashian has launched her first signature fragrance, XO Khloé in partnership with Luxe Brands.

XO Khloé by Khloe Kardashian

A floral scent which comprises crystallised rose petals, orange blossom water, praline, musk and white wood, the scent was created by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Clement Gavarry of dsm-firmenich.

Tony Bajaj, CEO of Luxe Brands, said in a statement that he is “honored” to partner with Kardashian. “Her strategic and forward-thinking approach is evident in all aspects of this launch. And the demand has been unprecedented – we look forward to the rollout in Spring 2025 and beyond.”

XO Khloé is currently available at Harrod’s London for £75 for 100ml. It also debuted in the U.S. at Ulta Beauty on December 1 in time for the holiday sales season.

Introducing Les Éternels de Balmain


Powered by a richly crafted duality of ingredients, Les Éternels de Balmain is inspired by the universal quest for self-realization and identity. This inaugural collection includes eight multi-layered scents from four distinctive olfactive families – Musk, Amber, Floral, and Woody.

Olivier Rousteing has been the lead architect of Balmain Beauty from inception, and in every aspect of creation from concept to scent development, to package design and campaign imagery. He studied perfumery, learning the creation process through hands-on training. After consulting Balmain’s storied archives, he handpicked four of Balmain’s legacy scents to be reinvented for the modern era: Vent Vert, Ivoire, Ébène, and Carbone. Four new fragrances complete the collection: Sel d’Ambre, Rouge, Bronze, and Bleu Infini.

  • Ébène is the revival of Pierre Balmain’s 1983 Africa-inspired fragrance, envisioned through the lens of Olivier Rousteing’s discovery of his origins. It ushers in the age of self-discovery and a journey to reveal our universal origin (eternal ebony wood/ precious myrrh oil).
  • Bleu Infini transports to endless skies, infinite seas, and their call to set you free (warm cistus absolute/ salted lichen).

The collection is inspired by Balmain’s first flacon created in 1946, a masterpiece of simplicity and timelessness. Duality was expressed in the design with contrasting elemental shapes of the circle and square, signature black and gold colors, and the label spread over two facets.

Building on this foundation, the new flacon delivers a multisensory and luxurious modern experience. The square is elongated into a lozenge; the Balmain signature rayure covering the glass echoes the gold collar’s existing texture; a new finish and color palette flatters the touch and the eye. On the cap, a graphic PB monogram symbolizes Balmain, extracted from the iconic 1970 brand labyrinth motif.

Call it Abstract Expressionism: classic white musk meets a dynamic new spin.

THE INSPIRATION

When Bond No. 9 opened its flagship in 2003, the pioneering Founder Laurice Rahmé admired the potential of this small, eclectic downtown street and neighborhood. Many residents in the area had been working artists who had moved there during the thriving 1970s art era (including Bruce Williams and Robert Mapplethorpe), and while Bond Street was not quite yet the elegant, refined destination it now is, the bourgeoning fragrance boutique shared a very cool neighbor: the iconic Blick Art Materials store was located a stone’s throw down the street at #1 Bond Street.

In the undisputed art capital of the world,” professional artists and students alike made the pilgrimage to Blick on Bond until 2022 when it finally closed shop and moved further downtown near Canal Street. Still, the original artistic heritage of Bond Street is forever infused in its cobblestone streets. Originally constructed as The Robbins and Appleton Building, #1 Bond Street was built in 1879-1880, designated a landmark in 1979, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Designed by architect Stephen Decatur Hatch, the ornate cast iron façade is a striking example of Second Empire style and emblematic of the creative architectural variety that embodies both the historic and futuristic on Bond Street.

Inspired by this blend of old and new, Bond Number One takes the enduringly popular white musk note—regarded as one of the most sensual and grounding scents—and artfully remixes it for the 21st century in a novel hierarchy that instantly feels classically comforting and yet, ephemeral in its eternal romance.

Coty and Etro will work together to explore new categories and innovations to grow the brand’s beauty portfolio.

The deal establishes a long-term partnership between Coty and Etro, one that is anchored in the companies’ shared values of innovation, exploration, community, and creativity. The new partnership further reinforces Coty’s reputation as the go-to partner for Fashion Houses and global brands looking to create or elevate their beauty portfolios.
