Fragrance Foundation 2025 Awards Luncheon

The Fragrance Foundation’s annual April Luncheon at Cipriani 42 kicked-off awards season with this year’s finalists and a few 2025 award presentations prior to awards’ night on Thursday, June 5th at Lincoln Center.

This year, the first-ever TFF Leadership Award was presented to Dr. Joyce F. Brown, president of The Fashion Institute of Technology. Dr. Brown has not only been the longest serving president, but the most passionate educator advancing fragrance studies at a public college. Her vision and impact has left such an indelible mark on the industry that it was only fitting for The Fragrance Foundation to honor her legacy.

Dr. Joyce F. Brown is “one of the most transformative leaders in education today,” stated Fragrance Foundation President Linda G. Levy. “She has brought profound and visionary change to FIT’s programs, facilities, and initiatives over the course of her 27-year tenure as president. Her impact in advancing academic programs in fragrance, and bringing generations of talented graduates into the industry cannot be overstated.” Levy traced the long history of collaboration between TFF and FIT—including the landmark creation of the FIT #FragranceForwardTFF Scholarship.

Levy also shared that TFF has donated $27,000, reflective of the FIT President’s 27 years of leadership, to the Dr. Joyce F. Brown Legacy Fund. This ongoing fund will support the creation of a state-of-the-art science laboratory at FIT.

Winners of the first five 2025 Fragrance Foundation Awards were then announced along with finalists for all 19 categories to be awarded on June 5th, as well as the announcement that Daniela Andrier, master perfumer at Givaudan, would be the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Honoree, and that Ralph Lauren will receive the 2025 Hall of Fame Award.
