Roger Howell Named President of ASP

New Board Members Announced as ASP Looks Ahead to World Perfumery Congress 2026 in Monterey, California.

The American Society of Perfumers (ASP) is proud to announce the appointment of Roger Howell as its new President, ushering in a new chapter of leadership and innovation for the organization. With over three decades of experience in fragrance creation, Howell brings both creative excellence and a collaborative spirit to the Society’s mission of supporting and celebrating the art and science of perfumery in the United States.

The American Society of Perfumers recently announced that the upcoming World Perfumery Congress (WPC) 2026 will take place in Monterey, California, from June 23-25, 2026. WPC is the premier global event for fragrance professionals, bringing together perfumers, industry leaders, suppliers, and visionaries to explore trends, innovations, and challenges shaping the future of scent.

“WPC 2026 in Monterey will offer a fresh and inspiring backdrop for our global community,” Howell added. “We are planning a world-class program that honors tradition while embracing new voices, technologies, and innovation in fragrance.”
