in addition to its award winning fragrance, Prada has debuted its new beauty lines: Prada Skin and Prada Color.

Available since August 1st on the luxury brand’s website and at selected retailers, such as Selfridges and Harrods the two Prada Beauty lines are refillable. Developed by L’Oreal, the lines fall under a license agreement that was signed in January 2021.

The luxury label is also launching a virtual makeup try-on service –Prada Color Explorer, and a skin diagnosis device for advanced analysis of consumers’ skin –Prada Skin Decoder.

Realized in tandem, the respective skincare and makeup collections reconcile minimalism and maximalism; sophistication and playfulness; simplicity and versatility, drawing from both heritage and technology for formulas and packaging that bring luxury and responsibility into harmonious conversation,” said Yann Andrea, Prada Beauty International General Manager.

The new collection includes: 33 shades of Reveal foundation; 26 Monochrome matte lipsticks; six Dimensions eyeshadows quads inspired by classic Prada prints; three Augmented Skin skincare products; and ten brushes and tools.

The brand has also opened a physical Prada Beauty store in Singapore and and Prada Caffé at Harrods in London.

Prada S.p.A. and L’Oréal have announced the signing of a long-term license agreement for the creation, development and distribution of luxury beauty products for the Prada brand. This agreement will allow the two companies to combine their expertise in each of their own sectors.

Cyril Chapuy, President of L’Oréal Luxe stated, “We are very pleased to have signed this license agreement with Prada. Prada is one of the most respected players in the global luxury industry. A symbol of excellence and avant-garde, the Prada brand’s unique and unconventional philosophy appeals to consumers around the world. This license will give L’Oréal Luxe the ideal complement to its portfolio of iconic brands.”

The license agreement, having obtained the applicable customary regulatory approvals, will come into effect on 1 January 2021. PRADA Group Prada S.p.A. – HKSE Code 1913 – is one of the global leaders in the luxury goods industry. The Group, which owns the Prada, Miu Miu, Church’s and Car Shoe brands, produces and distributes luxury leather goods, footwear and apparel manufactured in 22 company-owned industrial sites. It also operates in the food sector with Marchesi 1824, and in the eyewear and fragrance industries under licensing agreements. Estée Lauder has announced that it has signed Anok Yai, fashion’s newest star, as its latest Global Spokesmodel. Anok will feature in makeup and skincare campaigns across digital, TV, in-store and print. Anok’s first campaign will be for the brand’s number one foundation, Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup, debuting August. She joins the current roster of Estée Lauder spokesmodels, Misty Copeland, Grace Elizabeth, Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss, Yang Mi, Carolyn Murphy, Hilary Rhoda, Joan Smalls and Fei Fei Sun.

With the addition of Anok to our current lineup of diverse spokesmodels, we continue the brand’s legacy of celebrating women from different backgrounds, ethnicities and ages.”

Anok is known for making headlines and following her history-marking moment as the first black model to open the Prada runway show in 20 years, Anok shows no signs of slowing down. Discovered after Instagram images of her went viral at college homecoming celebrations in Washington, DC, Anok Yai became the center of global media attention. Contacted by several top modeling agencies, Anok found home at NEXT Model Management where she is signed globally.

Just one week after signing with NEXT,, Anok confirmed the leading role in Prada’s Spring/Summer 2018 campaign photographed by Willy Vanderperre and shortly afterwards became the face of the Riccardo Tisci x Nike collaboration. Anok appears on the cover of DAZED’s Summer 2018 issue and has additionally been photographed for Vogue, V Magazine, Vogue Italia, British Vogue, POP Magazine, AnOther Magazine and Self Service to name just a few. She became the subject for one of Willy Vanderperre’s iconic model series and was selected by DAZED to appear in the DAZED100.

Originally from Egypt, she is the daughter of Sudanese refugees. Anok moved to the US in 2000 and hopes to one day become a doctor and empower young women to pursue STEM fields.
