Beauty Made in Italy Holiday Pop-Up in Miami

The ‘Beauty Made in Italy’ Holiday Pop-Up at La Centrale in Miami celebrated its grand opening with two nights of fun, food and beauty! The celebration kicked off on November 6 with an influencer dinner hosted by President Renato Ancorotti of Cosmetica Italia and Erin Michelle Newberg. The following evening, the ‘Beauty Made in Italy’ Pop-Up welcomed over 100 guests including press and VIPs for an Opening Night Reception. ‘Beauty Made in Italy’ is a new program launched by The Italian Government that promotes the awareness, availability and excellence of Italian beauty products and brands to the US market.

The intimate influencer dinner for forty-five guests included influencers and tastemakers: Barbara Becker, Martina Borgomanero, Iva Kosovic, Marysol Patton, Jilian Sanz and Carolyn Travis, among others. The evening started with a cocktail reception and discovery period where guests received a first look at the featured ‘I-Beauty’ brands including Acca Kappa, Carthusia, Marvis, Perlier, Proraso, Rudy Profumi, Skin & Co Roma and Tutto Tondo. Guests enjoyed a five-course dinner, with each course and cocktail inspired by ingredients found in the beauty brand’s products. Some of the delicious examples include a Rum Spiced Orange and Ginger Cocktail inspired by Marvis’ Ginger Mint Toothpaste, a Cacio e Pepe Black Truffle Pasta inspired by Skin & Co Roma’s Truffle Therapy Collection and a Coconut and Candied Lemon Fluke Fillet inspired by Carthusia’s Mediterraneo lemon-scented hand cream. Guests left with gift bags filled with ‘I-Beauty’ products.

The ‘Beauty Made in Italy’ Holiday Pop-Up continued the celebration with an Opening Night Reception welcoming over 100 guests from the Miami area including retailers, industry executives and press. Both evenings highlighted the intersection of beauty and food, as the major draw and allure of ‘I-Beauty’ is the exceptional ingredients used in Italian beauty products such as truffles, lemons, figs, ginger, mint and honey.

The Holiday Pop-Up features over 120 products from participating brands in the ‘Beauty Made in Italy’ program covering beauty categories across hair, face, skincare, bath & body, fragrance and shaving.

Open to the public now through January 5, 2019, the ‘Beauty Made in Italy’ Holiday Pop-Up offers something for everyone. Come discover the newest products and gift sets for Holiday!
