Saks Fifth Avenue’s Kate Oldham Honored at Fragrance Foundation Circle of Champions

Kate Oldham, SVP, GMM, Beauty, Jewelry and Home of Saks Fifth Avenue, was inducted into the Fragrance Foundation’s prestigious Circle of Champions on Thursday night –.an honor bestowed on one executive annually who has deeply impacted the fragrance industry. The event was held at The Park Hyatt in New York City. Guests included past Circle of Champion honorees Cos Policastro, Camille MacDonald, IFF’s Nicolas Mirzayantz, Ann Gottlieb, Pamela Baxter, as well as Revlon’s Serge Jureidini, L’Oreal’s Alex Choueiri, Nest’s Laura Slatkin, The Chantecailles, Arcade Beauty’s Diane Crecca, Givaudan’s Felix Mayr-Harting, IFF’s Frederick Pinault, Robertet’s Pierre Wulff, RPG’s Bruce Teitelbaum and Takasago’s Catherine Selig and Oliver Herrera.

Oldham has developed Saks into a leader in the beauty category and a headquarter business for cosmetics, luxury skincare, fragrances and wellness. She is passionate about finding new ways to provide services to the Saks customer, particularly through new and innovative products and treatments, which play a vital role on the new beauty floor of the Saks New York flagship, which opened in May 2018. Oldham has spent her entire career at Saks, beginning on the merchant track as a buyer, and later VP, Divisional Merchandise Manager in cosmetics and fragrances, and Regional VP of store merchandising. In February 2014, Oldham was appointed Vice President, General Manager of the New York flagship, and was named SVP, GMM, beauty and fragrances in July 2016, adding jewelry and home in 2017. She has been a long-standing member of The Fragrance Foundation Board of Directors.

 Oldham was presented the award by Marc Metrick, President, Saks Fifth Avenue, who applauded “her incredible vision, her dedication, her hard work and her collaborative approach both inside and outside of Saks.” Peggy Elsrode, SVP Luxury North America, Coty, and Nicholas Munafo, President North America, LVMH Fragrance Brands & Givenchy Beauty, also shared stories about their years of collaboration with Oldham.
